StethView will display a patient’s phonocardiogram while the user is listening simultaneously to the sound. By adding the Audio Input Module, StethView will display two channels simultaneously. When used with a SimulScope, the patient’s ECG may be recorded simultaneously with the heart sounds. This allows identification of systole in patients with fast heart rates.
StethView will also allow recording of the heart or breath sounds (and ECG, if desired) while viewing the phonocardiogram on the screen. Recording time is from 1-120 seconds.
Features:
* Display heart sounds as a phonocardiogram
* Displays lung sounds as a phonopneumogram
* Simultaneous display and recording of sounds and ECG (use SimulScope with ECG for dual channel recording)
* Compares two phonocardiograms on the same screen
* Edit function permits reduction of baseline noise or editing a certain section
* Playback of recorded sounds.
* A library of simulated sounds is stored in StethView for immediate playback
* Operates on XP or Vista operating systems
